WREB's New Home
August 1st in Phoenix – 115 degrees!…. the hottest week of the summer!... even the weather didn’t deter WREB staff from the much anticipated relocation to the new headquarters in North Phoenix. Located only 15 freeway minutes north of the former office, “Happy Valley” is more than appropriately named for the beautiful corporate location in one of Arizona’s “hottest” growing professional corridors.
A variety of security concerns, along with declining building standards and favorable economic conditions were just some of the factors which led to exploration of the possibility of moving.
The Executive Committee reviewed several properties and were unanimous in their decision to approve Center Pointe in the North Valley for many reasons. The owner/builder of the brand new office complex also built and recently opened the adjacent Hilton Gardens Inn Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located right next door to the office.
The office has already hosted several committee meetings, and accolades on the hotel hospitality, many amenities, and new office security have been welcomed. Everyone seems to be impressed with the new Executive Conference rooms, complete with enough comfortable chairs to enjoy even the longest of meetings! Worth mentioning, the new building even has “indoor” plumbing with a total of 6 convenient bathrooms.
Call it opportunity at the right timing? A downturned real estate market, a brand new office building waiting for the right anchor tenant, and an Executive Director who championed the move - all resulted in finding WREB’s excellent new home. A special thanks to Office Manager, Jennifer Dahl, who provided the organizational skills and moving expertise to ensure an flawless transition. Rad Masinelli and Nic Cronin, WREB’s IT Department, also tirelessly worked through the weekend to have communication up and running by Monday morning. Good job to everyone’s hard work, and special thanks to the Board for providing such a professional and safe environment in which to serve.
